South Korean Christians Pray for Lady Gaga’s concert to Be Cancelled for Promoting “Homosexuality”

A group of South Korean Protestant Christians gathered and pray so that American pop singer Lady Gaga’s concert in Seoul will be cancelled. They believe that the pop star is supporting homosexuality and pornography.

It was said that 300 church members get together to pray against Lady Gaga’s concert in Seoul on Sunday.

“We will pray to God that the concert will not be realised so that homosexuality and pornography will not spread around the country,” Prayer organiser Kang Ju-Hyun said.

Earlier reports said that a Korean Church group also stated that they will not tolerate young people to be involved with homosexuality and pornography.

Last week, the Christian group exposed street banners in the capital condemning Lady Gaga of “spreading unhealthy sexual culture” through “lewd lyrics and performances,” before they were put away by the authority.

After being rated unsuitable for minors by the Korea Media Rating Board, South Koreans under the age of 18 are not allowed to go to the said concert.

Lady Gaga is popular for her hit songs “Poker Face” and “Born This Way” and is also well known for being active in gay rights and anti-bullying campaigns.

After her performance in South Korea on April 27, the pop artist will also perform in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
