The family of the Cebu Pacific ground crew who received lots of tongue-lashing from actress Claudine Barretto is planning to file a legal action against the actress.
In published interviews, the mother of the ground crew of the local airline company shared that she is very much hurt and frustrated by the way the actress had treated her daughter. She added that it was not her daughter’s fault why actress’ luggage was offloaded and that her daughter does not deserve to be disrespected in public.
“Napakasakit naman talaga ang ginawa niya, duru-duruin niya ang anak ko. Binababoy niya eh! Iyan ay pinapaaral namin, hindi sa pinapaaral namin na mumurahin lang at babastusin. Napasakit lang bilang nanay!” said Elizabeth Bocboc, mother of Charisse Bocboc.
Mrs. Bocboc also shared that her daughter went home crying after the incident and had not reported to work for 4 days because of trauma.
The brawl at the NAIA Terminal 3 between Mon Tulfo and the Barretto-Santiago couple started when the former took photos of the actress berating Charisse Bocboc and Kristine Ilagan, both ground crew members of Cebu Pacific.
Claudine was said to have uttered disrespectful remarks and undignified the two personnel in public because their luggage were offloaded without being informed by Cebu Pacific.
The encounter then resulted into a brawl that Raymart and Claudine said was all started by Mon Tulfo. Tulfo on the other hand points to Raymart as the one who started the fist fight.
The local band Itchyworms on the other hand posted Twitter messages saying that the celebrity couple started the brawl.
Both Tulfo and the Santiagos filed cases against each other.
The Commission on Human Rights or CHR also invited the families of the ground crews who received a great dose of tongue-lashing from the actress to file a case in their office
“They can file a case dito sa CHR if they want to, sapagkat dignidad nila yan, ‘di nila kasalanan iyan,” CHR Commissioner Etta Rosales said.
Do you think that the family of Cebu Pacific ground crews who were berrated by Claudine Barretto should pursue legal action?
