Jeremy Lin to Return to New York Knicks

Reports say that NBA team New York Knicks believes that Asian-American point guard Jeremy Lin will return with the team for next NBA season.

According to Knicks general manager Glen Grunwald, he hasn’t seen a reason for Jeremy Lin to be excluded in the New York NBA team.

The 23 year old Harvard Graduate, who is currently resting due to an injury, is a free agent. In that case, Lin might switch to another team if a certain team might give him a higher offer. However, The New York Knicks has the right to push the bid higher if ever another team gives him an offer.

“We can keep him if we want him, and we do want to keep him, and I believe that Jeremy had a great experience here. I believe he wants to come back,” Grunwald said.

The “Linsanity” craze started after Jeremy leads a seven-game winning stream for the New York Knicks. However, its popularity declined after Lin had a “torn meniscus” in his left knee.
