Prayers and messages from fans and celebrities showered social networking sites after sons of Dolphy confirmed that the Comedy King is in critical condition.
Various celebrities tweeted regarding Dolphy’s health, including Martin Nievera, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Iza Calzado and singer Sitti Navarro.
“Prayers to our dear kapamilya Dolphy. God is in control….” said Martin Nievera.
“Praying for Tito Dolphy. Sending him love and light. My father always had good things to say about him. May God bless a great man.” Iza Calzado tweeted.
“ Prayers for Sir Dolphy..” said Sitti.
Former congressman Teddy Boy Locsin Jr. also reportedly stated that President Noynoy Aquino should immediately visit Dolphy to crown him his national artist award, that he deserves to get.
Diamond star Maricel Soriano rushed to the hospital after she heard the sad news about Dolphy’s condition.
The veteran artist’s long time partner Zsazsa Padilla reportedly never leaves his side as well as his sons Eric, Ronnie and Vandolph.
In the meantime, Dolphy is still under the intensive care unit of Makati Medical Center wherein his hemoglobin was said to have decreased and needed Type B+ blood for transfusion. He also has kidney complications due to his severe pneumonia.
“After clearing pneumonia, Dolphy is now contending with kidney problem,” said Dolphy’s son Ronnie.
Despite of the situation, the Quizon family stated they are ready if anything might happen to their patriarch.
