Comedy King Dolphy is now awake and more responsive, reports say.
The news was based on the latest medical bulletin stated by Dr. Eric Nubla of Makati Medical Center. According to Dr. Nubla, Dolphy can now nod and can raise his eyebrows as well. He also tries to speak though there are no sounds coming out of his mouth.
“Dolphy squeezes family members’ hands and tries to mouth words. He is getting better,” said Nubla.
Apparently, it was said that Dolphy is now cleared of pneumonia; however, he might still has infections in his respiratory tract.
“He has been cleared of pneumonia but continues to have infections in some parts of his system, but good news is now he is lucid,” Nubla said.
Recently, the Comedy King has undergone dialysis and blood transfusion due to the dropping of levels of his blood count.
