The Philippine Azkals are going to face the Malaysian football team for a friendly game.
The Philippine Azkals vs Malaysia friendly match will happen on June 1 Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Philippine Football Federation (PFF) President Mariano “Nonong” Araneta,Malaysiamade the invite for the Azkals to face off in the field.
As with the recent feats of the Azkals, this match will serve also as part of their practice and tune up for upcoming events that the national football team will be joining. But fans are assured that though the game will be a friendly match, both teams will show their best in the field.
And Malaysia is no pushover, as it is the reigning AFF Suzuki Cup champions.
In the FIFA rankings, the Philippines is at 148 spot while Malaysia is at the 153 place.
Fans can watch the game of the Azkals vs the Malaysian Tigers live via Studio 23 at 6 PM.
