Although Queen Elizabeth II was upset after her husband Prince Philip was hospitalized, her Diamond Jubilee closing celebration to mark the Queen’s 60 year reign took place happily on Monday.
A star-studded celebration and a magnificent fireworks display were featured during her four-day celebration. Though they are members of the royal family, Prince Harry, Prince William and his wife Kate partied with thousands of audiences during the festivity.
British pop singer Robbie Williams led the concert as he sang a cover of the song “Let Me Entertain You.” Jessie J and Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am also performed at the concert with their performance of “I Gotta Feeling.” Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Beatles legend Paul McCartney also rocked the stage.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla as well as British Prime Minister David Cameron also attended the said concert.
In the meantime, 90-year old Prince Philip is still under observation in the hospital due to an infection in his bladder.
The celebration will formally end with a church service and a carriage procession in London.
