Another honor was given by Filipino Grand Master Wesley So to the Philippines after he won the title Crown Section in the 2012 Toronto International Chess Championship.
Wesley So took the title home after he recorded 6.0 point from his 5 wins and 2 draws.
The 17-year old Cavite native will continue his battle as he joins the Quebec Open Chess Championship 2012 in Montreal, Canada.
Wesley will be the representative of the country in the 2012 World Chess Olympiad on August 27 ‘til September 10 in Istanbul, Turkey.
