President Benigno Aquino III is going to make his third official report to the joint session of Congress and to the whole Filipino nation on July 23, 2012 at the Batasang Pambansa Complex.
The 2012 State of the Nation Address or SONA 2012 of President Aquino is going to start around 3 PM with which thousands of lawmakers, local chief executives, foreign dignitaries and guests are going to listen to him live in the plenary hall of the lower house of Congress.

The Palace said that the President is going to report all his accomplishments and everything that he has achieve since he took the presidential seat via a wide majority of votes. He is also expected to share his vision and concrete plans in the remaining years of his term in the midst of a troubled global economy and poverty in the country.
According to the spokesperson of the president, the speech is already in its 5th revision with about 300 pages. P-Noy may also use visual presentations in order to highlight his points and let his message come across his listeners and the ordinary people.
As practiced, the President has been delivering his message during his SONA in Filipino, and is expected on Monday.
But militants are not too happy with President Aquino’s government. They expressed disappointment in the three years of the President and that they will hold protests and demonstrations during the SONA 2012 to air their anger, disgust, frustrations and call for genuine reform in government and accountability especially on issues of land reform and human rights abuse.

But the police force said that they are ready to make sure that the SONA 2012 will be peaceful and secured. They will use about 6,000 policemen during that day.
The House of Representative on the other is already readying the venue and has been so very busy in the last couple of days. They said that they will be diligent and frugal in spending money for the event.
The SONA 2012 of President Aquino is going to be aired live on local television networks and to be on live broadcast on local radio networks.
Replay of the SONA 2012 is going to be aired by NBN4, the government-owned television network on primetime.
So for those who will not be able to watch or listen to, you can still watch the SONA this year on NBN4.
