Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum confirmed that the negotiations regarding the fourth sequel of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are on its final phase.
Arum stated in a report that he recently had a meeting and affirmed that the much awaited fight is on its final terms.
“We’re having a meeting about Manny’s next fight and to get everything finalized,” pahayag ni Arum. “My goal is to finalize the Marquez fight, but I have to meet with (Koncz).”
In spite of finalization of the possible fight, the boxing promoter apparently said that he needs a consultation from Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz first.
Arum makes sure that Pacquiao’s fight in December will surely take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
“It’s at the MGM,” said Arum. “The eighth is for sure. Vegas is for sure.”
One of Arum’s considerations on Part IV of Pacquiao-Marquez fight is the large earnings on pay-per-view sales wherein they earned $12 million dollars on its trilogy fight.
