According to a report, a man named Victor Sneed has filed a lawsuit at the Los Angeles County Superior Court and claims he went through physical injuries, property damage and had hospital bills. The incident happened in January 2012, almost a year by now.

If he is convicted, it will be Russell’s second involvement in court dealings this year following his requirement to give $500 in court fees and doing 20 hours of community service after the actor threw a photographer’s phone out of the window in March.

On the other hand, Russell apparently stated he was “honoured” to do it.

“I don’t know what their format of community service is, but community service, that doesn’t seem like a punishment. That seems like a duty. We are our community. Service is an honour. I’ll be happy to do it.” said Russell.

According to a report, the incident happened last Saturday at 11pm when the actor went home drunk and had an argument with his partner, Johnelline Hickins, which ended in violence.

Juan Alberto Carlotta, Hickins’ brother reportedly said that he tried to protect his sister but he was kicked by Matt in the face.

Hickins is a 23-old-student who had just given birth three weeks ago. She also planned for a surprise birthday party for Evans on October 22 before the incident occurred.

Matt might face charges of physical injury and violation of R.A. 9262 or Anti-Violence against Women Act.

Meanwhile, a report said that Evan’s lawyer Gerly Rico reportedly stated that it was apparently Evans who was assaulted and “was even threatened with a knife.”

“Matt denies having inflicted any injury against his girlfriend or her brother. In fact, it was Matt who was hit on the leg and who was threatened with a knife,” Rico said in a statement.

Mrs. Manalo told “The Buzz” that her husband abandoned her because of an affair with a young dancer and said that she knew about this but kept it secret so it won’t affect their children.

“Sa pagkakaalam ko, at alam na alam na naming lahat, mayroon at marami na rin akong pruweba na totoo nga ito—totoo ngang may babae siya. Totoo pong inabandona kami. Umalis siya January 6 this year, pero yung mga bagay na ito, alam ko na last year pa. Since January, alam ko na ang nangyayari. Tinitiis ko lang lahat ito para sa mga bata,” Annalyn said.

Annalyn also told The Buzz that Jose no longer texts and as well changed his number. She also stated that she talked to her husband’s woman and begs her to leave Jose.

 “Dalawang beses ko siyang kinausap na parang awa na niya, layuan na niya ang asawa ko dahil may mga anak ito, lalong lalo na may maliit kaming anak. Sana makonsensiya siya,” she said.

Annalyn added that her husband allegedly made up stories which make her look bad among the comedian’s friends and workmates.

Regardless of the issue, Annalyn said that she is willing to forgive Jose if he ever comes back to their home again.

 “Gusto ko sabihin sa ‘yo na mahal na mahal kita. Ginawa ko to dahil sobrang sakit na ng nararamdaman ko para sa mga anak ko,”

Three years ago, Mrs. Manalo faced lawsuit after being responsible for a multi-million jewelry scam which made the comedian leave Eat Bulaga temporarily to avoid the issue.

The actress performed costume changes, dance and song numbers along with her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Sarah Geronimo, Vice Ganda, Cristine Reyes, Derek Ramsay, Rico Blanco and her ex-boyfriend Sam Milby. Anne’s friends appeared during the concert including Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza and Solenn Heusaff and also her “Showtime” co-hosts Karylle, Jhong Hilario and Ryan Bang were there.

According to an interview, Anne apparently said that she is happy because not only her showbiz friends gave her support but her boyfriend Erawn Heussaff was also there during her concert. She shared about how her boyfriend supports her for her singing career.

“He’s been so supportive, he made t-shirts for everyone. Hinahayaan niya ako, kahit stressed ako hinahayaan n’ya ko,” Anne said.

Meanwhile, it was said that Anne Curtis has an upcoming world tour for her Annebisyosa concert, which will also tour in some provinces.

According to reports, town Mayor Edwin Cox Elorde stated that about 100 people participated in placing the gargantuan reptile in a cage. It was also reported that an eco-tourism park is on the works to feature several species found within the vicinity, including the recently captured giant crocodile.

Reports say that the crocodile was first seen killing a carabao by local residents last month and could have possibly harmed a fisherman who went missing last July. After these incidents, the crocodile farm staff made traps which were effortlessly destroyed by the reptile. Later on, they used stronger traps made of steel cables which proved to be effective as it had successfully captured the giant crocodile.

On the other hand, the largest crocodile in Asia is captured in Thailand, measuring 6 m (19.69 ft) (19 ft 8 in) in length and weighing 1114.27 kg. While the largest crocodile alive in captivity in the U.S. could be found in South Carolina, with 20 feet (6.1 m) long and allegedly weighs more than a ton.

In a report by TMZ, Fred A. Flores, the commissioner for the L.A. County Veteran’s Advisory Commission who also happens to be a retired Marine reacted to these lines and demanded an apology from the rapper.

“It’s a very offensive statement … especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up.

“He should apologize to ALL armed forces.”

“[The rap] is very irresponsible especially for a person who is an entertainer for the youth of our country,” Flores said.

 

As of now, Soulja Boy’s camp still hasn’t released any statement with regard to the issue.

In several reports, the growing population of wild monkeys in Hong Kong has become a big disturbance to the thriving city.  Authorities said that they are always receiving lots of complaints about the nuisance that the wild monkeys bring the residents and tourists.

In recent years, authorities blame easy food handouts from tourists for the unstoppable growth of the population of wild monkeys.  The government instituted therefore a feeding ban with a fine of $1,287 to those that will violate, but was also found an exercise in futility.

Chung-tong Shek from the conservation department said in an interview,

“There is plenty of food inside the city in the garbage. Some of them get lost in the city…from time to time.”

With the seemingly unstoppable growth in population of wild monkeys and becoming a big disturbance in the city, the government is stepping up its drive by using birth controls.

In 2002, they used vasectomies on males and temporary injections to females.  Today, the contraceptive program for wild monkeys is focusing on the use of sterilization of females.

Authorities use cages to trap the monkeys and do the procedure which only takes about a few minutes.

Those who are taking the lead on the program clarified though that they are not seeking for the elimination of the macaques rather is a conservation measure.

Animal rights group has also backed up the program. Ashley Fruno from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in the Asia-Pacific region said in a report,

“Contraceptives are so much better than poisonings or other lethal methods that cause animals so much suffering.

This is another great example of non-lethal methods used to control wildlife populations.”

Officials from the Bureau of Customs reportedly seized a two cargo vans weeks ago containing bundles of black corals and dead sea turtles.  In total, the poachers had harvested more than 20,000 pieces of black coral and 161 turtles aside from other marine species.

With the large number of contraband recovered, environment officials estimate that around 7,000 hectares of coral reefs were destroyed by pachers.

Ludivina Labe, a senior marine biologist of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said that only two or three colonies of black coral could be found in one hectare of sea floor.

Only two or three colonies of black corals-each represented by a piece of black coral-are found in one hectare of sea bed, Labe explained.

“One piece of black coral is not just one organism. There are thousands of other organisms who live there,” added Labe.
