The disturbing photo was taken in a resort in Albay when one of their staff is taking a selca (or ”self capture,” a term coined by Koreans to mean taking photo of one’s self) while the Korean pop group and their staff were eating dinner.

In a translation by oh-dara.com and @WeLoveDara on Twitter, Dara wrote regarding their ghost experience:

“At the resort during our last night… I had our dinner table set by the pool, and then invited the members and staff to eat. It was just us then.. We were eating food, talking to each other, and taking pictures, we were resting leisurely when all of the sudden, there was a light shower and we all ran off to our rooms in a hurry. This photo is a selca taken by one of our staff, however..!”

After adding a cropped version of the photo, Dara posted:

“Now! Let us zoom in on that photo and take a look! We can clearly see that it’s a form of a long-haired woman, wearing a one-piece dress.. But at that time, at that place, there was really no one else there. Although it looks like a person, but I really don’t think it’s a person. Really.. What is the real identity..? I’ll just leave this for everyone’s imagination.. There are things in this world that people aren’t able to explain though.”

Dara and the rest of 2NE1 spent a vacation in the Philippines from February 1 to February 5, 2012 apparently to get away from the cold winter in Korea. They stayed at the Misibis Bay Resort, Cagraray Island in Bacacay, Albay.

Yesterday was the installation of Archbishop Luis Antonio Tagle as the new head of the Archdiocese of Manila.

But on the sideline is a funny blooper.

A press released posted on the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) website inviting people to watch the live streaming of the installation of the young prelate.  However, netizens discovered that the link that had invited them to watch the live streaming of a holy celebration led them to a hot porn site.

From the proper domain name of http://www.tvmaria.net, those who posted the press release instead placed http://www.tvmaria.com.  The latter was actually a porn site.

Those who clicked the linked got the surprise of their lives as they have not seen any live stream of robed men incensed with prayers, but a transvestite wearing skimpy clothes inviting some hot-blooded visitors for something else.

Peachy Yamsuan of the Archdiocesan Office of Communication (AOC) apologized for the unintentionally error.

The web link was edited and the proper link was put up hours later.

A young girl from Mindanao reportedly dug herself out from the grave and pointed out the person who had raped and buried her alive

Police authorities said that the victim was a 10-year old girl.  According to the report, this girl reported to her parents what happened after surviving the terrible experience of getting raped and buried alive.

The girl narrated to her parents that after she got raped by her own cousin, she was hit in the head by a solid object and got unconscious.  She was then buried into a shallow grave.  When she regained her consciousness, she realized that earth and stones covered her and so clawed her way out.

Inspector Roberto Ocumen, chief of police in the town of Magpet, said that the suspected has already been arrested and charged.

How about that for a story of survival and bravery?

In Taiwan, a pregnant runaway bride was fined by a court due to the emotional damage she caused her groom.

The court ordered the bride, who did not show up on the wedding day in November to pay the groom an amount of $8,620 for damages, though the groom asked for a higher amount for compensation.

The reason of her not showing up during the wedding ceremony was a fight with her groom about the number of guests to be invited on their wedding day, said local news reports.

During the wedding day, the groom however asked the maid of honor to replace the missing bride in order to save face in a fake wedding ceremony.  Fortunately or unfortunately, the groom ended up falling for the maid of honor. 

The groom and the maid of honor ended up in a real wedding ceremony.

The runaway bride was said to have already given birth early this year and raises her child all by herself.

A baby in Israel was reportedly named after a popular Facebook button said international reports.

The Israeli couple named their baby “Like”. Vardit Adler, the mother of the baby with a very unique name told international reporters,

“It’s short and sweet.  It’s very important to me and to my husband that the names we give our children are unique, creative and totally new.”

“Like” has two older sisters named Dvash (10) and Pie (5).

Asked about the possibility of her child receiving criticisms, Adler said

“I’m not worried about other children teasing Like. Dvash and Pie don’t seem to mind their special names and nobody teases them.”

Mrs. Adler also shared that she had set up a Facebook page for her child “Like”.
