Reports say the head of chief executive of Mondadori group which publishes glossy French magazine Closer Ernesto Mauri and French photographer from daily La Provence Valerie Suau were charged with invasion of privacy.

The Duchess’ pictures were featured on Closer Magazine and also circulated the internet a year ago, wherein she was reportedly seen topless at a private chateau in France.

On the other hand, the Mondadori group stated, “Mondadori is not aware of anything new with respect to what is already known about the issue.”, while La Provence believed Suau had the paper’s “support in the legal challenge she is facing today”.

In the meantime, Kate Middleton is preparing for her first baby and is scheduled to give birth in July.

According to reports, Arum said Top Rank President Todd DuBeof holds the fight contract which is approved by the two fighters.

“The fight is agreed to. We have contracts out to both fighters. Top Rank President Todd DuBoef worked hard with both sides and (Marquez co-promoter) Fernando (Beltran) worked hard with Marquez and we came to terms with both of them,” said Arum. “These guys wanted to fight each other too. They really wanted to fight each other, even though either of them could have opted to fight Manny. But Bradley-Marquez is an interesting fight. People are going to see an action fight.”

The date of the match concurs with the Mexican Independence Day.

Aside from the Bradley-Marquez bout of Top Rank Promotions, rival promotional company Golden Boy Promotions also scheduled a match on the said date. WBA/WBC middleweight champion Saul Alvarez will go to the boxing ring once again wherein he might apparently face Floyd Mayweather Jr.

According to reports, he will be fighting WBA lightweight champion Mike Alvarado this coming October. Alvarado’s manager Henry Delgado reportedly stated that they agreed to face Pacman and they will negotiate the contract sooner.

Delgado also said that if they have agreed upon the fight purse, the Pacquiao-Alvarado fight will be pushed through.

In previous reports, Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum mentioned Alvarado’s name as the next possible opponent for Manny.

Alvarado earlier beaten WBA undefeated lightweight champion Brandon Rios during their rematch held last March. The Mexican-American boxer won by unanimous decision after 12 rounds.

KrisTV hosts were surprised when Janine confirmed her split with her boyfriend of one year during the show. According to the beauty queen, they broke up due to Janine’s fondness to The Script’s frontman Danny O’Donoghue.

“Actually honestly ngayon we are not in good terms. Siguro may nangyari lang na hindi ko ini-expect na mangyayari,” then Tugonon said. “Honestly po kasi break talaga kami ngayon.”

Janine reportedly said that she met O’Donoghue at the Irish pop band’s meet and greet during their concert at the Araneta Coliseum.  Then she and O’Donoghue started being friends and followed each other on Twitter, which started a disagreement with Jaypee that led to their breakup.

“Nanood kami ng concert. Kasi hindi ba sa Araneta kapag may meet and greet, since kilala ko ang staff ng Araneta sabi ko sa kanila sobra akong fan ng The Script pwede bang ma-meet ko. So na meet niya ako, nandoon siya si (Jaypee) pinakilala ko nga siya, kasi tinanong niya ‘do you have a boyfriend?’ Sabi ko ‘yeah that’s my boyfriend.’ Tapos yon sabi niya ‘follow me on Twitter and I will follow you back’ tapos nag-direct message siya. On the other hand, Santos said that he continues to reach out for Janine but still values her need for space.

According to reports, two consecutive bomb explosions occurred at the finish line of the Boston Marathon event at Copley Square which was held concurrently for the celebration of the Patriots Day.  According to Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis, two undetonated bombs were also discovered by the authorities.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the event is a terrorist attack; however, it is still not clear if a local or an international group is responsible in this act of terror.

US President Barack Obama reportedly called on Boston Mayor Tom Menino and Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick to ensure the White House is ready to help in the investigation.

 “Shortly after being notified of the incident around 3 p.m. EDT, the president received a briefing from Homeland Security adviser Lisa Monaco and other members of his senior White House staff in the Oval Office,” a White House official said. “The president called Boston Mayor Tom Menino and Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick to express his concern for those who were injured and to make clear that his administration is ready to provide needed support as they respond to the incident.”

Boston authorities immediately tightened the security wherein they secure hotels and other vital installations. Guests from hotels such as Marriott and Lenox hotel were reportedly evacuated.

Meanwhile, the US Secret Service has reportedly secured the White House. Credentialed pass holders were also not permitted to enter the White House gates. Flights from Central Boston were also cancelled following the said incident.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we have expanded our security perimeter at the White House complex. It is not unusual to expand or contract these security perimeters,” US Secret Service Edwin Donovan said.

According to Gov. Deval Patrick, it was a “horrific” Day in Boston.

“This is a horrific day in Boston,” said Patrick. “My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been injured. I have been in touch with the President, Mayor (Thomas) Menino and our public safety leaders. Our focus is on making sure that the area around Copley Square is safe and secured. I am asking everyone to stay away from Copley Square and let the first responders do their jobs.”

In the meantime, US President Barack Obama stated during a press conference that the authorities are “still in the investigation stage” in the result of the bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line.

“The American people will say a prayer for Boston tonight, and Michelle and I send our deepest thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims in the wake of this senseless loss,” President Obama said a number of hours after the tragic event. “We don’t yet have all the answers, but we do know that multiple people have been wounded – some gravely – in explosions at the Boston Marathon.”

“We still do not know who did this or why, and people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts,” the president said. “But make no mistake: we will get to the bottom of this. And we will find out who did this. We will find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice.

“…Boston is a tough and resilient town – so are its people,” he continued. “I am supremely confident that Bostonians will pull together, take care of each other and move forward as one proud city. And as they do, the American people will be with them every single step of the way.”

According to a report, Cheng, 42 years old, died after being brought to a hospital emergency room. A website set up to raise funds for the coma-stricken bass player confirmed the sad news.

“[Chi] was taken to the emergency room and at 3am today his heart just suddenly stopped,” Cheng’s mother, Jeanne Marie Cheng. “He left this world with me singing songs he liked in his ear.”

“[Chi] fought the good fight, you stood by him sending love daily. He knew that he was very loved and never alone.”

Cheng suffered from severe injuries which led him to a coma after a car accident in November 2008. He regained minor consciousness in 2010. In 2011, the bassist began to make some improvements such as development of his sight and hearing, and can make “grunting noises.” In 2012, Chi’s friends posted a video of him raising his leg.

Fans from around the world gave their sympathies to the late Deftones bassist on different social networking sites.

“Rest in peace Chi Cheng,” frontman Chino Moreno posted on Facebook.

The Deftones have released two albums after Cheng’s absence, and they are currently working with bassist Sergio Vega.

In the meantime, Deftones will be back in the Philippines for their upcoming concert on May 6.

It seems like Donaire became emotional during his speech in front of the international press and boxing legends.

“I want to show you that, the small little boy who was wheezing between rounds and who barely had enough strength to hold up his gloves ended up taking up four world titles and doing so in a clean manner,” said Donaire. “I believe in the impossibility that there is none. When you reach your goal, you always reach your star. Here I am, a kid from nowhere, receiving the biggest award and I humbly accept this award with all my heart.”

According to a report, Stone stated that Erlinda Elemen has still an underpaid loan worth $9,500 (almost P400,000) from $12,500 (more than P500,000) in which she borrowed in 2010.

Erlinda previously sued the US actress last year following an alleged insult against her. She claims Sharon berated her, calling Filipinos stupid. The actress even insults her religion, and also prohibited her from reading the Bible during her stay at Sharon‘s house.
